With the help of Digital Uttarakhand we had a wonderful Darsan of Kedarnath Dham as we planned, they helped us a lot all the arrangements were done as they promised, at first I was worried of paying the complete amount in the beginning but they have won our trust so I paid the full amount. Everything was fine but I was bit disappointed with two things one was the washroom in Kedarnath and another was the Driver he wasn't so friendly and few other issues, though we cannot blame much to Digital Uttarakhand for this... I traveled alone with all my faith in Rohan Rawat from Delhi to Kedarnath and back . He took extreme care of me and gave me confidence wherever I was apprehensive. All the Rawats I met at Guptakashi were too caring and made me feel at home . The rooms I stayed were immaculately clean and new. In the heart of the mountain the Musafir Resort was an ideal place to respite in the pristine and tranquil surrounding. There were few inconvenience at times but as a whole it was worthwhile . Rohan booked my helicopter round trip . I regret not staying at their resort in Kedar . The service of the cooks and the other boys touched me . The stay still haunts me and I am sure to have a trip soon in future .Thanks to all the Guptakashi team n Rohan .

Famously called the ‘Mountain of the Serpent’, the Nag Tibba trek starts north east of Mussoorie, at the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan ranges, at an altitude of 3,048 meters. The local people have been offering prayers (puja) to the Snake God (Nag Devta) at this peak which is testament to its sanctity. They believe that the Snake God protects their cattle from snake bites.

The Mussoorie-Nag Tibba trek will delight every trekker, whether amateur or veteran. For visitors coming from Delhi, it is an idyllic and ideal weekend trek. The trek offers visitors the chance to savor a variety of enchanting experiences, from the vision of the majestic snow-capped mountains to camping under the star-lit night sky and walking in the verdant lush forests.

The Nag Tibba trek starts at the village of Pantwari via the hill station of Mussoorie. There are many charming little villages that surround Pantwari, such as Bandsari village, Kori village, etc. From here, the trek heads down to the villages of Devalsari and Thatyur. There is a distance of 8 kilometers from Pantwari to the peak of Nag Tibba. Trekkers will walk through ancient forests filled with deodar and oak teeming with exotic wildlife. This is a trek that will be a cherished memory for life for both adrenalin-seeking adventure buffs as well as the more peaceful nature-loving trekkers.

Itinerary

Day 1
Dehradun - Pantwari - Nag Tibba Camps | 4 Km Treks

The guests will have to report to the Dehradun Bus stand/Railway station at around 6:30 am in the morning time.
We begin the day early from Dehradun, this way the guests may avoid the traffic towards Mussoorie and Kempty fall.
After an hour of the journey by road, the guests will reach Pantwari village, our base camp & begin their ascend to Nag Tibba campsites on a marked route.
The trekking trail rises beyond the farms & enters the wild territory. The treks today is easy to moderate & will take 4-5 hour to reach. We reach the campsites by evening to enjoy the beautiful view of the sun setting over the Himalayas. Nag Tibba peaks is clearly visible from here.
The Nag Tibba camping site is filled with freshly fallen mint leaves. These leaves may be used to make a fresh brew of mint tea. Kandali shrubs, and local plants are found here too which after being properly washed can be cooked into a tasty saag (curry).
Dinner would be served at the campsite & we do overnight stay in our tent.
Altitude:- Pantwari (4,642 feet/1,415 meters.) | Nag Tibba Campsites (7,627 ft/2,325 meters.)
Trek Trail:- It is an easy to moderate hike today with gradual climbs. Forest departments have made a loose stone trails which we have to follow.

Day 2
Nag Tibba Campsites - Nag Tibba Top - Pantwari | 12 Km Treks - 95 Km Drives back to Dehradun

Rise up to a beautiful morning with an amazing view of snow-capped peaks & mountains around.
After breakfast, we start our climbing the Nag Devta temple.
Nag Devta temple is not in too good shape & without a pujari. Locals from the region still visit the temple often to pray. The area around the temple is vast & open and used as a grazing ground for the cattle.
The trail rises gradually for another 2-hour hike till we reach the Nag Tibba ridge. From here as you gain altitude; there is a distinct change in vegetation around you. The forest becomes dense dominated by oaks & rhododendrons.
After spending some time at the summits, the guests follow the trail back to our campsite & after lunch head down to Pantwari village.
The trek down is easy & fast and can be covered in a couple of hours of easy walking.
The guest then proceed onwards to Dehradun by the transports arranged by us.
Altitudes:- Nag Tibba 9920 feet/3,022 meters.
Trek Trails:- Easy to Moderates. It an easy walk toward to peak till steep steep climb to the summits.
